Anatomix® contains MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), an important bioavailable source of naturally occurring dietary sulfur. MSM is a non-toxic, purified, odor free, organic form of sulfur found in uncooked fresh fruits, vegetables and grains. Sulfur is the fourth most prevalent mineral in the body and is a fundamental building block in producing new cells and many other necessary functions critical to healthy body metabolism. Sulfur has been known as "nature's beauty mineral" since it may enhance fuller and thicker hair and stronger, faster growing nails.
Those who are allergic to sulfur type drugs will not have any problems with MSM as this is an essential sulfur found in the body and in many foods. The problem is that when food is heated or dehydrated much of the MSM is destroyed; therefore, it becomes vital that it be replaced.
